How do you evaluate my case?
After receiving all the information you can provide us here at Andrew Stinnette Personal Injury attorneys, and we have entered into an attorney client agreement, we will contact the necessary parties to inform them of your legal representation. We will send both insurance companies a letter of representation, informing them who we represent, and to make all future communications through our office. We then ensure you are being taken care of by ensuring arrangements are made to have your vehicle cared for, by either getting you into a rental car, or having your vehicle repaired. We also make sure you are referred to a treating physician as soon as possible to assess your injuries so that you may receive proper care. The state of Florida’s PIP (Personal Injury Protection) statue requires that you begin receiving treatment within the first 14 days from your Florida motor vehicle accident to receive full PIP benefits.
How much is my case worth?
Often one of the first questions we are asked by someone who has been injured in an accident is, “What is my case worth?” The only way to offer a valid answer on this subject is to investigate the facts, review medical records and bills, find out if the client has permanent injuries, and check to see how much insurance is available. At that point a reasonable estimate can be made, however there are still many varying factors that can change that estimate.
Can I Receive Compensation?
If you have been injured in a Florida auto accident, you may receive compensation for:
- Medical Expenses: doctor, hospital, physical therapy, and chiropractic bills
- Future Medical Expenses: doctor, hospital, physical therapy, and chiropractic bills
- Lost Wages: wages lost from time of accident to conclusion of your law suit
- Future Lost Wages: loss of earning capacity
- Lost Benefits: retirement, health, and other work related benefits
- Pain & Suffering: base on pain endured and length of endurance
- Mental Anguish: fear, embarrassment, anxiety, worry, and grief
- Loss of Consortium: loss of relationship with injured person
